Details

Laila Peak is a striking mountain located in the Hushe Valley of the Karakoram Range in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It stands at an elevation of approximately 6,096 meters (20,000 feet) above sea level. Laila Peak is known for its distinctive, elegant shape and the awe-inspiring surroundings that make it a popular destination for mountaineers and adventure seekers. The mountain is often referred to as the "Queen of the Karakoram" due to its pyramid-like summit and the breathtaking views it offers. Laila Peak is relatively more accessible and less technically challenging than some of the higher peaks in the region, making it a great choice for both novice and experienced climbers. The ascent typically involves a mix of snow, ice, and rock sections. Climbing Laila Peak is an attractive goal for mountaineers who wish to experience the beauty and adventure of the Karakoram without tackling the extreme heights and technical difficulties of the taller peaks. The region surrounding Laila Peak is known for its stunning landscapes and provides an opportunity to immerse oneself in the raw, unspoiled beauty of this remarkable mountain range.
