Khosar Gang is a mountain located in the Karakoram Range of the Himalayas, situated near the border between Pakistan and China. It stands at an elevation of 6,090 meters (20,013 feet) above sea level. While not as towering as some of the region's higher peaks, Khosar Gang still offers an adventurous experience for mountaineers. Khosar Gang is notable for its striking and rugged terrain, characterized by steep slopes, ice, and rocky sections. It is often sought after by climbers looking for a challenging ascent in a remote and pristine mountain environment. Climbing Khosar Gang is an attractive goal for mountaineers who want to experience the beauty of the Karakoram region without taking on the extreme heights and technical difficulties associated with some of the taller peaks. The mountain's location offers breathtaking views and an opportunity to test high-altitude climbing skills while exploring one of the world's most majestic and less-visited mountain ranges.
Itinerary
Arrival Islamabad and transfer to hotel.
Welcome reception or Briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
In case of flight has operated we will go for sightseeing tour of Skardu and in case no flight, the day will be used for over land travel from Chilas to Skardu (total drive is 22 – 24 hrs from Islamabad to Skardu). Overnight stay in hotel at Skardu.
